Da Game of Thrones a House of Cards, le nominations degli Emmy Awards 2014 vedono protagoniste le serie tv di maggior successo dell’anno a livello planetario. Mai come quest’anno la lotta per le categorie di miglior serie tv comica e drammatica, miniserie e film tv, miglior attore/attrice protagonista e non sarà serrata, per quanto rispetto agli anni scorsi non si registrino forti cambiamenti. Le cable dominano le nomination (anche grazie a formati, come True Detective di soli otto episodi, che permettono l’impiego di grandi nomi), le broadcast mettono in lizza i loro pesi massimi, come Modern Family e The Big Bang Theory, pluripremiate.
